WHO WE ARE
Grace Academy is a co-op within the Douglas County school district in Denver, Colorado.
Grace Academy’s goal is to ignite curiosity and foster critical thinking by encouraging interactive learning while keeping a focus on strong foundational skills. We believe that education isn’t just about textbooks and tests; it’s about growing a lifelong love for learning.
Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is currently closed.
WHAT WE OFFER
We blend the best of traditional subjects with hands-on experiences. Our curriculum covers core areas including history, mathematics, and science, but we don’t stop there. Along with core curriculum we believe it’s also important for students to explore art, music, STEM and real-world life skills.
Our campus extends beyond walls. Grace Academy encourages physical activity alongside classroom learning to develop both a well-developed mind and body. Every hour, we pause for brain-boosting exercises. Jumping jacks, yoga poses, or a quick dance-off – because a well-stretched mind absorbs knowledge better!
Our teachers are passionate explorers themselves. They don’t just teach; they inspire students to investigate new ideas and subjects of interest in hands-on ways. Expect lively debates, quirky anecdotes, and the occasional pirate accents during history class.
ACADEMICS
Knowledge, skills, and the mindset needed to thrive in an ever-evolving world are our highest priorities. As part of the Douglas County school system, Grace Academy meets academic standards in Reading, Spelling, Math, History, Civics and Science.
Beyond basic grades, we assess critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Our students don’t just memorize facts; they analyze, synthesize, and apply knowledge.
